Course contents

On the basis of a relevant first professional qualification, the Master's programme provides advanced knowledge in several areas of mathematics within the framework of a broad range of compulsory electives and introduces current research in a specialisation area.

In addition, the study should enable students to independently solve complex mathematical problems using scientific methods.

Mathematics training is supplemented by the study of an application subject.

The choice of one of the subjects mathematics, computer, techno- or business mathematics offers the possibility to set the main focus of the course.
