Christopher Borger

Vita

Until May 2021, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the DFG research training group MathCoRe, where I also did my PhD under the supervision of Benjamin Nill and Gennadiy Averkov. My research focuses mainly on the different aspects of lattice polytopes, in particular on the investigation of mixed invariants of tuples of lattice polytopes. One central motivation for this is to understand sparsity structures in systems of polynomial equations and to be able to exploit them in algorithms.

Before that I did my bachelor's and master's degree at the Technical University Munich.
