Goals:

analysis of different interests and self-concepts of students, analysis of the influence affective features of success of studies

Method:

development of a questionnaire tool and quantitative main study with over 300 university beginners

Results:

instrument shows an acceptable quality
interest in university mathematics at the beginning stage of a study precises a study satisfaction in the first semester

Outlook:

analysis of mathematical previous knowledge at the beginning stage of the study
analysis of situal interest of (teacher) students
